The Fly Iowa Challenge

One of the things I’ve always wanted to do was fly to all the different airports in Iowa. You can visit the “Fly Iowa Challenge” page on this website and see where I have been to this point. I love my home state, and I love dropping in to some of these smaller airports and just talking to people, and visiting these unique small towns and communities across Iowa. Getting away from the “norm” and exploring Iowa through aviation is the best…it’s like being able to step away/take a break from reality, and we all need that from time to time. My most recent discovery was Webster City; I was able to land at that airport for the first time last weekend. It was cool to go to a new and different place. I am looking forward to even more discoveries and adventures.
